Day 7 Augusta Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse

Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse
A relaxed day with a departure to Augusta from Margaret River at 11am taking a drive along Caves Road and arriving in Augusta just before midday. Before heading for a lunch spot we decided to drive through the town and head for the Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse situated at a point where the Indian and Southern oceans meet.

As it was midday and the light was harsh I only took a couple of shots and in the first one Steve, Lily and Declan are standing at the front door and in the second shot Reuben is playing with the top of the tower.

On the way back to Margaret River we stopped on caves road to view a section of Karri forest which is one of the tallest species of trees growing up to 90 metres, and tomorrow we are shooting for a morning trip to Hamelin Bay.
