Post 62 Reuben gets his very own Camera

This is not his new Camera
This is his new Camera
Reuben has been very good in requesting his own camera, and with all older siblings having their own cameras it was time to help him out.

So a brand new Samsung 12,2 mega pixel with movie mode for a grand total of $59 plus a Sandisk 2GB SD card for $8 and he was the happiest little man alive today.

At 12.2 mega pixel I thought I would do a comparison with my 12.1 mega pixel DSLR just as a reminder to everyone that it is never about mega pixels, it is always about quality.
Samsung 12,2 mp point and shoot
Nikon 12.1 mp DSLR

Reuben helped me with the red wagon shoot out between his Samsung and my Nikon.

I certainly know that he prefers his point and shoot to my bulky DSLR, and I certainly look forward to more of his photos.

There is always a unique point of view, both physically and in terms of subject matter that is recorded by someone so young; it is always interesting and sometimes very funny.

Hope you have a camera that gets used lots, have fun.

  1. very cute, I just love the pictures kids take, it give you a whole new perspective on their world. We got Eden a toy camera last year, the quality is terrible but its good fun & training for them.
